I'm not an audio snob but I had my doubts about this brand. I'm not really in the Skullcandy demographic, I'm a little behind, but I was in their price range so I was willing to try these cans. Surprisingly very nice glasses. Bluetooth works stably, for me that's high praise. I have other bluetooth headphones and cans and they have intermittent connection issues. Not so with the Hesh 2. Of course, the use case for the Hesh 2 is an iPad and watching videos at a table, which means immobility, but even that task is too much for the other devices I own. The only downside is that the cans are a little heavy and will make your ears sweat. I can watch a movie before they have to leave and I have to take a break. The sound quality is good, if not impressive. Banks are loud enough, I'll give them that, and precise enough for dialogue. I've played music through them a few times and it's been a comfortable experience, the sound is precise and round. A very good can set for the money. Setup is typical of Bluetooth on Apple products, a little dramatic, and then it works. Comes with cables, one for audio, the other for charging. The charging cable is your typical and perfectly padded USB mic, a little longer than most but not quite as functional. The power reserve is 10 hours of active play, which is more than most people can handle given the weight and pressure of cans on their ears. All in all, these are the best Bluetooth earbuds I've ever bought and probably the best in their price range. I recommend them for general users. If you spend more time with your banks, you will probably have to spend more.
