Hooray! No more knocking! They work very well and don't affect the sensitivity of the pencil at all - if you read the instructions (unlike me)! When I first got them I was so excited I just stuck one on the tip of a pencil. I was disappointed to find my pencil wasn't as responsive as it used to be and the cap was falling off. So I unscrewed the tip of the pencil, pushed the cap down a bit, and then screwed the tip back on. Voila! Success! I actually feel the pen is MORE responsive with the cap, but that's probably because it's less slippery and I can control it better. I can't tell how fast they wear out as I've been wearing them for less than a day. but a 6 pack should last a long time. Definitely recommend them!
