The Wii remote flew away. Someone could get hurt. The plastic case doesn't clamp the strap and Wii side threads well (see attached photo). On the contrary, the original WIi tape over 10 years old is still going strong. This raises doubts as to whether this nearly five-star rating was legitimately obtained or whether there are quality control issues at the manufacturing facility. This product didn't do what it was supposed to do: prevent the Wii remote from flying. They do not touch any safety-relevant products.
