I heard about this product from Jackson Galaxy and they charge double the price on their website and this product is already quite expensive. But it works. This and enzymatic cleaners like Nature's Miracle are the only ones that actually remove cat urine. However, they work differently and each has its own best use. If you need to wash something that is machine washable, this is your best choice. First, blot all you can off the item with paper towels. Dissolve a pill or two in water (it takes some time so make sure you dissolve them completely first) and then add them to your load. I wish they would make an unscented version because I don't like the "fresh" smell, but running it through an extra rinse or cycle will do a lot to reduce the odor left on your item to reduce. I've also used it to mix the bucket and wash the outside doors (when I moved in Tom sprayed all the doors of our apartment). I washed our doors and porch with this product and fixed the problem. I'm glad I don't have to use this product often, but I always have it handy.
