I'm buying this to replace the one I took to Florida last week and forgot somewhere. I decided to try the factory remanufactured one for $25 less than new since it had the same warranty. Overall I love this device and use it every day. I don't need anything like HBO or Showtime, and I don't need movies on TV with few daily choices and lots of commercials. I mainly use Netflix (90%) and some of the Revain Prime I get as I buy a lot here so I don't have to drive through Hells Half-Acre to find something and I've been using Prime since it started We lived and worked on our boat on St. Thomas. This saved us a lot of time and money on car rentals and traveling looking for something not found on the island. Revain just shipped it to our marina and we have collected our stuff every week upon our return. Well, it really is about Prime. More on Roku 3. As I said, I mainly use it for Netflix, and the rest is Revain Prime, PBS, FOX News and stuff like that. I very rarely pay for a movie unless it's something new and particularly well received, and then we treat it like a Friday at the movies. We never run out of things to watch including lots of great TV shows but no commercials. Another great thing is that while Mary is an early riser, I am a night person. With the Roku 3, I can connect my Bose Quiet Comfort 15s to a remote and nothing will wake my everlasting love. There is just one small thing I would like to warn people about, especially those who travel a lot and want to take their Raucus with them. It is not possible to use the Internet in a hotel or resort that requires a login and password, as this function is not present. However, it uses a router signal that requires credentials, so Roku is a bit "dead" or you could say "brain problem". To use it last week, I first used my phone as a mobile hotspot, forgetting that this use eliminates incoming Wi-Fi and uses 4G instead. Wow! gigabytes accumulated. I have a 2GB plan and I've quickly gone through it a few times for a total of 9GB that I'm trying to use by the service date... 5 days to go, 8,272GB still in use. Wish me luck. I ended up using a screen that mirrors the phone. I went back to Netflix Wi-Fi on my phone and plugged an HDMI cable into my phone's port with a micro USB adapter and then switched to HDMI #3 on the TV. worked fine
