My daughter loved them from the moment she opened the box. She has taken them out of the shoe rack every time we have been out since the day they arrived. It's not easy finding a pair of mud boots that our fashion-loving 5 year old country girl would like, so this is a very big win for us! They are of very high quality at a great price. Incredible profile so there is absolutely no slipping or falling when walking around on wet fallen branches/leaves or mud. For the record my daughter is 5 years old about 3ft 10" tall (last measured in August) she is currently a size 12.5 but I ordered 13 so she had room to grow but due to the fur they were invisible to them. I will say that if your child is not used to wearing boots, they may feel a little heavy. My daughter has been wearing cowgirl boots since she was 2 years old which is similar to these so no complaints here.
