Review on Finger Hands Puppets Accoutrements Set by James Davis

Leather color off, some flashing and muted details

I bought one of these tiny hands (just one) from a local store a few years ago and only found it in a box a few weeks ago. My toddler thought it was hilarious. He's not allowed to play with him alone (possible choking hazard), but he laughs when I put it on my finger and touch his nose or shake my hand. So I decided to order this pack so I have a matching pair. The quality is really average. It's hard to tell from the photos I've posted. But the hands in this pack are an orange or cheddar shade, not a skin tone. They also have flashing where you can see traces of mold. It can be cut with a utility knife. The surface texture of the new ones is shinier and shinier, and therefore less realistic. Finally, the level of detail isn't as good as what I've bought before. The old one has such incredible detail on his knuckles and even fingerprints! It's really weird that the old version I bought and these newer versions come with some sort of identical copyright notice, leading me to believe they're all from the same company, but the quality has really gone down. Don't get me wrong: it's still a good price and most people won't notice these details if you're just fooling around. Enjoy!
