Overall I like this water bottle holder - the holder itself. This works well for my 24 oz bottles of Nalgene OTF. The top of the bottle is mostly closed, but that's okay; I only put it down to drink. I love the outside pockets. My iPhone 6S with its sturdy case fits well in the large zipped pocket and my smart car key fits well in the small outside pocket. If I were to rate it on that alone, it would be a 5 star product. However, the belt is NOT comfortable unless you are wearing clothing that fully covers your neck. The second time I wore it on a hike in a thin, long-sleeved sun shirt that came down to my collarbones, but no higher. I had to stop almost immediately to tie a headscarf around my shoulder pad to protect my neck (which wasn't a good idea, but better than a fresh neck wound). The problem isn't with the pillow itself; These are sort of trapeze pieces that connect the padding to the strap and are sewn in place. They are very abrasive and immediately started chafing my skin within seconds of starting a hike. I've since bought another tape to use with it. Given that I now have to factor the price of that extra strap into the total purchase price to make this product work, I'm a bit disappointed. However, the case itself feels solid and works well with my favorite hiking water bottles.
