Review on 🔥 Mishimoto MMAI-BRZ-13WBK Performance Cold-Air Intake for BRZ/FR-S 2013+ in Wrinkle Black by Tim Beckett

Works very well. Definitely improved performance but not too much for everyday use. When I first installed it it limped at low rpm for the first day or so until the ECU figured out what it was supposed to be doing, but now it drives just like it did with the factory airbox. Significant improvement in intake noise even under gas and not a bit louder under normal driving conditions. Does its job spectacularly imo. However, the installation was PITA. The pipe barely fits in the front of the car, and the way you're supposed to install the diffuser is incredibly wrong. It was rattling against the radiator bracket so I moved the gasket from the left corner to the right rear and it's a nice snug fit now. I'm concerned about how the air filter attaches to the pipe and how the pipe attaches to the engine bay. Both don't hold up very well due to the small margin. If the filter weren't so massive at the base there would be more room to get the tube into position rather than just hanging from the last part of the bracket and the filter wouldn't bang against the housing. front strut. I saw the machine's vibrations causing it to shut down. I will of course update the post if that happens.
