Review on Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 Black (PN7-00001) by Rajkumar Raikwar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An excellent mouse for little hands.

Since touch pads hurt my wrists, I always use a wireless mouse with laptops. My laptop only has two USB ports, so I bought this bluetooth mouse because I had used an older model of essentially the same mouse and enjoyed it.

It seems smaller than a regular desktop mouse, but it's not too little to be uncomfortable in my hand. The button reaction is gratifying (good crisp clicks), and the sensor is excellent for simple computing. The scroll wheel is a bit "tight," which means it requires a little more effort to scroll than other mouse I've tried. That's my only minor gripe. Even so, it's hardly a deal breaker. Again, I would purchase this!

Pros
  • Ideal for travel is small size. My sleeve-style laptop carrying case's little pocket accommodates it without any difficulty. prolonged battery life. During the previous 12 months, I only replaced the battery once. On the majority of flat surfaces, it operates precisely and glides easily. With excellent results, I've used it without a mouse pad on desktops, rough wood surfaces, clipboards, notebooks, etc. I still bring a mouse pad around just in case, as it doesn't function on glass surfaces like the majority of light-sensor based mice do.
Cons
  • - The computer pointer starts moving after a very little delay (perhaps 0.1 seconds) compared to when you start moving the real mouse if you haven't moved it for more than five seconds. Since I've had the mouse, I've constantly seen this behavior. It occurs regardless of the surface you apply it on. Once the pointer begins to travel, it moves smoothly until you stop moving the mouse for another five seconds. Although it's just a hunch, I believe the pointer lag is caused by a manufacturer design choice meant to conserve power. Each time you leave the mouse sit for a while, it uses less power to maintain contact with the computer. Thankfully, although being unpleasant, I don't use the mouse for any precise work, and it functions just well for general computing. - No travel case is included. For scratch and small bump protection, I utilised the soft fabric casing from my old travel mouse. - The power button sticks out a little too much. I unintentionally turned on the mouse when it was stuck in my laptop. This occurs as a result of the mouse pressing strongly against the side of the case due to how snugly it fits within my backpack.
