The chemical smell of these pants was unbearable. We only kept them because they were the perfect gift for my son's friend. BUT I soaked them in baking soda and plain veggies for a few hours, then washed them alone with more than normal amounts of soap. It still stinks. Soak again overnight in baking soda and vinegar. Washed again. Still a bit smelly but not overpowering. Only after that could we tell Luke his stinky gift and story. I will never buy clothes from this seller again.
