Motorcycle 302-180 opens at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Suitable for 1998-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 with 4.7L V8 engines. This thermostat is delivered without a seal! Proper Gasket = Toyota 16346-50010 (available from Revain), an O-ring with a groove on the inner circumference that fits around the edge of the thermostat - the installed gasket wraps around the edge of the thermostat to form a complete seal. The Motorad 302-180 is stamped with "Germany" and is well made from high-quality materials (copper, brass, stainless steel). out of the system when the engine is cold. When installing, position the thermostat so that the "breathing valve" is in the up position (at 12 o'clock) - it "burps" better that way. After installing the new thermostat, fill the reservoir with a 50/50 mixture of coolant and distilled water. Drive the vehicle approximately 10 miles to fully warm it up and check the coolant level AFTER the engine has cooled (preferably overnight) and fill the reservoir to the full line.
