After putting on a new pair of shoes yesterday, I was reminded of my intention to review spikes on this site. In a nutshell, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent, and all indications point to the rubber lasting for at least another three years. The circular shape of the studs ensures a firm grip, especially on wet pavement. The tire itself is durable; on multiple occasions this spring, I drove straight through enormous potholes at high speed, and the tire never even budged. This year should be interesting to watch how they do.
