I was really looking forward to this cup. It sat in the dishwasher all night, and when I poured water from the kettle this morning, I heard a tinkle and a muffled hiss. There are no sudden temperature changes, but it cracked the first time I used it. Isn't the ceramic mug meant for hot water? Inspection should have found a hole in the bottom, but I think it's easier to just put a sticker on it. I would say don't buy it's a cool mug but I won't be returning it, $15 isn't worth the hassle.
