This holder is a decent weight. I use it to rest my Wacom Pro Pen 2 and it works well. The holder also has a decent non-slip quality. I use this on a drafting table that I tilt at about 30 degrees. This holder will not slip and the Wacom pen will not fall out at this angle. I chose the black model. It's timeless and stylish. Some reviews say people are frustrated that the pens don't sit properly in this holder, even though the pictures clearly show the pens at an angle. I suspect these people didn't do any research (and by research I mean "look at the pictures and read the description"). Your pen will most likely not sit straight in this holder. I'm giving 4 stars because I would have liked a little more material on the bottom of the holder. The anti-slip pad is the bottom, so I wish there was a little more "floor" material for the pen to rest on.
