The description and photos show this pad to have a normal, plush looped terry cloth top and that's not the case at all. This is a super thin pad with a thin rubber-ish backing, and the top looks like an old terry cloth towel that has been washed so many times that the looped terry is mostly gone and where it hasn't eroded completely what remains is thin and badly deteriorated. The photo and description are misleading and this is at best is a dollar store quality product. I could see paying 4.99 for this, but not almost 20 dollars. I bought this based on the description, photos and all the 5 star reviews, but upon checking again today I see most of them (although are verified) are early reviewer reviews. I will keep these as I needed one because my 10 year old thick terry, waterproof pad needed to be replaced, and because packing this up and sending it back is more of a hassle than it's worth, but I wouldn't call this anything more than basic, utilitarian and certainly not worth the price.
