Review on MegaGear Torres Camera Messenger Bag – Genuine Leather for Mirrorless, Instant, and DSLR Cameras by Bill Wieser

Black color is good for bags and cases

Like many photographers I have a problem with buying a camera case, the problem has been exacerbated by the recent purchase of a Fujifilm X100f camera. My Megagear shoulder bag was bought to stock me with some basic black. It goes well with camera bag and handbag. I can easily fit and carry the usual small items from my purse and camera (in their lovely Fujifilm leather case, no less), as well as a small notepad and Kindle. In addition to my camera, I can also take spare batteries, lens hoods and filters with me. My Megagear bag is well made: the seams are neatly sewn, the leather is nice, the strap and buckle are strong enough. The left and right side and back pockets are narrow and therefore not very functional. For me they are best for storing parking passes, boarding passes, etc. The inner front pocket is perfect for storing a Kindle or iPad mini, if not a small tablet (e.g. iPad 9.7). I really like the design of the front shield, which can be folded in at the corners and thus offers excellent protection against rain. All in all, this bag is the perfect combination of efficiency and sophistication, and the size is perfect for everyday use as well as museums, galleries, and other places where a large camera bag can be problematic.

Pros
  • Bags and cases
Cons
  • Minor issues
