If you're like me, you don't have much affection for the original Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) Tarot. No variety and pictures are not very good. This deck brings ancient art into the present with its "CGI"-like art, clean lines, and vibrant colors. There isn't much detail on the maps and each map is easily recognizable. The deck is suitable for beginners, advanced players and collectors. I would definitely like to see a rimless and/or pocket sized version. I definitely recommend this version of the famous tarot, especially if you're a fan of abstract art. Most of the shapes are "shadow" so I think this deck can be used for soft shadow work if you like it.
