ANSI lumens, no marketing lumens.

I couldn't find many reviews on it before I bought it so thought I'd leave this information for those who are looking. In short, this item is worth every penny of the regular price. . It's an absolute steal if you're buying a refurbished one. Don't let the 400 lumens fool you. That's 400 ANSI lumens and a lot brighter than many projectors advertised at over 2000 lumens. Before that I bought a 2500 lumen projector and this Miroir is easily twice as bright. The image is easy to read on a decent screen in a bright enough room. The build quality seems fantastic. It is a dense little stone and feels very solid. I suspect most of the weight is due to the large battery inside, but it doesn't feel fragile at all. Since it is designed as a small and portable projector, it does without some functions such as zoom. This means that in order to achieve a specific screen size, the projector must be set up at a precise distance from the screen. I suspect that this, and not the actual defects, is the reason why "refurbished" specimens are offered for sale. People probably buy them and then realize they don't work in their situation and return them. It is not intended for permanent use as a home cinema projector. If you can be flexible with placement, you'll get a great 1080p 100-inch picture that's bright enough. The only downside I can find with this projector is that the sound through the audio out seems to be much quieter than the previous projector I had. Connected to an amplified external speaker, I have to turn the projector and speaker volume up almost all the way to get decent volume. If you are looking for a durable home theater projector more than 2.5m away If you want to take a 100 inch HD cinema on a hike, on vacation or in the backyard, all you need is a phone, a flat surface and this projector. .
