Review on 👗 EllieHouse A-Line Long Maxi Bridesmaid Tulle Skirt for Wedding, Evening Party, and Prom - P68 by Ashley Branch

I ordered this skirt in black size large. I'm 5ft 7" with a long torso and thighs. I usually buy long pants because I need more length in the instep, so I knew I needed the extra length to get this skirt on the floor. My waist to floor measurement is 43 inches. I currently wear a US size 10-12 in most pants and dresses (or pant size 30-31). This skirt just glides across the floor with no shoes and with shoes it covers my shoes but doesn't touch the floor so it works great for my purposes (attending a formal wedding). In my photos I am not wearing shoes and have not yet muted a skirt or band. The skirt consists of two layers of comfortable tulle and one layer of polyester lining with an overcast edge (see the fourth photo in my review). Tulle fabric doesn't sting and doesn't prick like some; it's stiff but fairly smooth for tulle. I can easily run my hand over it and doesn't catch the tulle at all. The lining is made of smooth polyester lining fabric, the length is about ankle length for me. It sits very well under the skirt and does not pinch. The lining fabric is not very transparent, so light colors allow you to wear an additional combination or skin-colored underwear. In black it doesn't really matter as not much light is reflected through the tulle. (See the last photo in my review; look closely and you can see my fingers through the lining.) The elastic waistband of the large one on me is snug but not tight, and the band is just long enough to fit around the waist Tie at the waist, although a longer one might be fine too. I've been wearing it for about half an hour so far and it's not uncomfortable in any way; the belt tightens with it, the lining lies flat under the tulle; Tulle doesn't scratch my bare hands. I could probably wear XL for a less tight waist, but so far the size Large hasn't even been uncomfortable for me - I often get back pain from something being too tight on my lower back due to healing scoliosis. It is perfect for my event and needs and I look forward to wearing it. Later I'll try to update my review with photos of the skirt after it's been steamed. Skirt arrived a week earlier than expected, well packaged and in good condition; absolutely NO funky smells or problems. I was also pleasantly surprised that the tulle was nicer and smoother than many others I've seen on the hems of dresses (causing an uncomfortable itch for many) - it was so smooth that my bare arms didn't bother me at all. . The price was great. I will not hesitate to order again if I need another one!
