UPDATE: Contrary to my initial review below, my husband was able to clamp the hangers in a vice and then bend the tops. Now they work very well! If you or anyone else can bend the tips a little, they're great! Still two stars as they don't work for most people since they were sold. As someone else pointed out, the tops of the hangers - the part that has to go over the rod - are "too narrow". I have rods from 1967 that are smaller than today's standard rods and they don't overhang the rod. You sit upstairs. Also, I asked my very skilled husband if he could bend circles - the metal is too strong for that. If the company ever expands the platter I will definitely buy them: they kept the tablecloths very well!
