I bought these specifically for phone calls because I read a lot of reviews about them having a great mic and not picking up a lot of ambient noise. I have a pair of Skullcandy headphones, Apple headphones, Samsung headphones and when I'm working with machines and compressors these Phiaton headphones are great compared to the Skullcandy headphones. Sound Quality: They are not intended for entertainment or watching movies on your phone. or any device because the quality is balanced and I would say they focus more on phone calls. ANC is average but there are other headphones or sets that compensate more but it's a good start. NOW microphone. So far this is the best and I can compare them to Apple and Samsung headphones. That's incredible. It also reduces ambient noise on the other line, which is what I'm looking for in a Bluetooth headset. You can be in a noisy environment, in a car on the highway, in a noisy work environment, in windy weather, etc. and they still work well and the person on the other line can hear you well. Now they are not meant to replace protective plugs or headphones! At my place of work, I wear hearing protection when I'm on the phone. Problems: I've had them less than a week so far and have had 1 problem and have been trying to fix it for a while and thanks to everyone at Revain. The "Ask a Question" community that responded and helped me solve my problem, but I'll share what actually solved my problem. I had a moment where I tried to turn it off but didn't press enough to turn off Bluetooth. He called my last caller and I canceled him and for some reason by pressing the play/pause button and then turning off he hung up. I haven't been connected to Bluetooth for a long time and couldn't turn it off. I've tried turning it off several times at intervals of several minutes to several hours, tried drawing several times and nothing. ANC didn't work at all, even when it was on or off. Until I connected it to my phone with a Bluetooth micro USB cable and tried pressing the call button (long press the power button) and the volume up/down button at the same time and I heard that the ANC started working again (I tune in to hear what's going on while troubleshooting) when I saw that pressing the ANC button toggled the blue light on or off, I was able to turn off my Bluetooth device - and turn it on again. I will review them again if there is positive and/or negative feedback from me. The reason for the three stars is that I usually start with three stars when I buy a product. The battery lasts 2, maybe 3 times longer than my Skullcandy Buds. The sound quality is definitely three stars. And the ANC is average but very good for the external environment.
