I wish I could line my eyes with different shades of eye shadow like some of my friends do. Since I don't, I decided to try Taupe Dollar, a shade darker than my skin, to at least add some depth and shadow to my naturally puffy eyelids. My first impression of Taupe Dollar 11th Hour was that it was very smooth and easy to apply. The color wasn't overwhelming either, and I was able to apply color to darken areas I wanted to deepen by blending the edges with my fingertips. I often forget when I put on my makeup and was pleasantly surprised at the end. Day I went to wash and found the color from the 11th hour was still visible. With my oily skin, I don't remember my powder eyeshadow staying intact after a full day, especially without foundation or other prep makeup. Now that I've found an eyeshadow stick that I like, I'm hoping that with practice and adding the darker and lighter/lighter shades of 11th Hour I can still achieve a naturally contoured look.
