Ok, ok, I know it doesn't really CURE flare-ups, but it definitely INCREASE them. Since I work standing up and need my hands free, the neck strap is very comfortable. Batteries are a MUST. I had previously ordered a smaller version and found that my battery ran out quickly. These costs add up. I like 3 speeds (low, medium, high) to deal with my mild (feel a little dew on my forehead) and intense (close your eyes because I want to undress) hot flashes. And don't worry you'll look weird wearing this little box around your neck. Every time I wear it I get one of two reactions; from time to time people mistake it for a radio or, and that's mostly, people think it's a great idea and want to know where I got it from.
