I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

The original Samsung cable failed, so I had to find a new one. The Baseus Cafule PD USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable is reasonably priced and, more significantly, supports Samsung's rapid charging functionality.
