These cables become sluggish and unusable - within 4 weeks, with or without a socket. Samsung 7edge, so many options but all I want is 1. a solid click in a tight cable that 2. charges at almost or at the advertised fast speed (2.0+). They stopped charging so fast I literally lost my battery if I had one when using the phone for offline reading with nothing running in the background. Yes, I'm a nerd. I was hoping they would be better than wicker as they appear discreet and durable. nope I didn't even walk long enough to know if the metal connector would bend or if the connector would loosen or wear out/disconnect. Can't you just make a cable (6.6-10ft) that charges consistently (2.0+), has a loud click when connected to your phone, and doesn't fray/split at the ends? If there's one company that always is what it says it is, I'll always move on and say I am! I bought from 4 manufacturers last year all with great reviews and I will not even contact their customer service. If they don't send what they promise I'm tired of wasting time, effort and money making sure someone gets a second chance to get it after receiving a junk product - just send that, what i ordered the first time. Place. I'm bored of this. Let's try another mfr (hint-xxxpow) and see. I don't expect miracles either, just decent quality for a few months. I'm not picky about phones as I don't often move my phone or plug and unplug it when it's not connected so it's NOT my fault and it's not my gear. I paid between 8 and 20 dollars for a set, there is no difference. Sooooo not durable, doesn't charge well but lasts long enough as advertised. Also my dog's leash. My phone doesn't charge either.
