Let me start by saying that the installation was very easy and worked fantastic for about 3 months. The light was just the right brightness and glowed as it should at night. HOWEVER, after only three months, I noticed that the front cover had melted and burned in one spot. It felt very hot so I removed the fairing and reinstalled the main cap. As you can see from the photos, the front and back have been burned and melted down. As an engineer I was curious so I opened the bad lid and saw that R1 (its first resistor) was missing! It's completely burned out! This is a definite fire hazard and I will be contacting Intertek regarding this 'listed' product.
