Review on Optimized for SEO: IngenuiTEA Bottom Dispensing Teapot by Adagio Teas by Matthias Foxx

Revainrating 4 out of 5

DO NOT LICK! Read my review to find out. Excellent infuser!

First of all I LOVE my ingenuiTea and use it every other day to make iced tea. Second, I noticed mine was leaking as well. Since I bought my smaller one from the store, I contacted the store about the leak. Together we realized that it needed to be disassembled to ensure the gaskets and screen were properly attached. This is easy to do by first removing the screen on the inside and then pushing out the rubber plunger that sits over the rubber grommet in the centre. In any case, you need to know how to clean the screen. I haven't had any leaks since I learned how to assemble/disassemble. I hope this helps others. Eventually I bought a larger teapot and used it to brew a 67 ounce pitcher of iced tea. Big doesn't understand; but I haven't noticed any leakage on mine. Some have mentioned not sitting on certain sized cups/jugs etc. That is simply not true. You can land it on something that activates the plunger. Just make sure the tea spout is in the middle of the container you want to pour the tea into. You can use your fingers to lift the bottom to strain each drop of tea as it appears strained. I'm not sure why this simple device caused so many problems for people; but I would ignore their comments and think logically myself. These people are far away and just don't have the strength to understand how this really simple device works.
