I don't understand why the company was successful with the first design of the shoe (the original Skechers Go Walk) and then fiddled with it so much it's not even remotely the same anymore. I had probably 10 pairs of Skecher Go Walk shoes in different styles. The soles wear out fairly quickly with regular wear, but I usually use a pair a year. The original shoes were always the most comfortable: the fabric stretches to accommodate different foot shapes, and the sole is so soft and comfortable it actually cured my problem feet. Since discovering Go Walks I have had no more foot problems! I've tried Go Walk models with more durable fabric, and while they weren't as comfortable as the originals, they still fit well. Well, not this one. These Go Walk 5-Priced have an odd fabric that wrinkled the midfoot, rubbed my pinky toe, and worst of all, ripped my heels. In just a few minutes it went from mild discomfort to total rubbing of the skin from the back of the ankle. While I LOVE the Skechers Go Walk and will continue to try new styles, I would recommend that you stay away from it. I wish they just hadn't messed around with something that wasn't broken in the first place.
