This is a lightweight alternative to the buckled overshoes and muck boots I used to have. Didn't really think of them when they came out but they work well for keeping my feet dry. I only gave these four stars because they appear to be higher on the foot in the pictures than they are in reality. I have large calves and these boots tend to slip all the time I wear them. Also, the rubber bands that come with them tend to come loose as you work with them. We run a ranch, and during work hours I stomp through the snow, opening and closing the gates. If you are looking for something to keep your shoes dry before heading to the office this is fantastic for a simple walk, five stars. However, if you frequently get on and off a tractor or get in and out of a vehicle, then this is a four star rating. However, I highly recommend them for the cheap price as I can buy 10 pairs for every pair of Muck Boots.
