Review on ๐Ÿ”— Shangpule Stainless Steel Metal Replacement Bands for Fitbit Charge 3/4/3 SE - Black (Large/Small Sizes) - Enhanced Fitness Tracker Strap by Joe Pettigrew

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great band for the price!

I ordered the Fitbit Charge 3HR "silver band" and so far I am very satisfied. This strap is "heavy" like any other high quality vintage metal watch strap. I have a small problem but I think it wasn't worth losing a star. The "instructions" come on a card slightly larger than a business card. The graphics are pretty sharp BUT the text is the smallest printed text I've seen. Like font size #1 or #2 in MS Word's writing program. I actually had to take a high-resolution scan and enlarge it on my computer screen to be able to read it, as I hadn't removed the viewing links in almost a decade. So, before trying to enlarge this tiny map, and being a typical human, I just swiped it, stuck the pin and broke the little pin remover in the first 30 seconds. I murmured a few choice words and threw it all back into Revane's bag. An hour later I really wanted the band to work because it looked really great and I was so sick of that black rubber band that Fitbits have. So I scanned the card into a computer and showed it on the big screen. The small diamond patterns on the links turned out to be arrows showing which way to push the pins. And the small tiny card is meant to be pressed from the "notched" side, NOT the "flat" side of the pin. But the HAPPIEST moment was when I read that the bottom of the removal tool opened up to reveal an EXTRA removal tool inside! In less than two minutes I changed bits, took out 3 links, reinserted the connecting pin to close and lock everything on my wrist. I hit everything at work and there have been no scratching issues so far, but it's really too early to tell. So if you like a traditional heavy metal band this is a really good option for what I think is a very good price. (Note: Fitbit Charge 3 straps release on the side (think of a seat belt buckle - push the button and pull straight out - unlike some previous models where pressing down on the strap releases the strap) .I hope this helps.Fence or other guys like Me who hates reading guides!
