I bought this size due to warnings that this size would not fit the Surface Pro 6 case. Even with the Type Cover on, it slides in and out easily. The pen stays magnetically attached when simply left on a surface. Please refer to the picture of the built-in pen case. This is NOT just a loop, but a long tube open at both ends. It is comfortable. If you push the handle further than shown in the picture, when you pull it out you only get the top half and you have to slowly push most of the part out of the sleeve. a pocket on the back if you want the magnetic closure to close, but it closes most of the time. However, as shown in the figure, it opens earlier about half the time. A stronger magnet will keep it closed, but can be an issue for the finish itself. thin and light "profile" of the surface itself. I bought it, I'll keep it (at this price, why not?), but I haven't quite "sold out" it yet.
