Getting Started? First of all, the buyer must be careful. The set looked cute and the reviews were good so I thought it was worth a try. Received it today and the box is a decent weight which gave me a little hope. Turns out the weight is mostly in the suitcase and toenail clippers. Nothing else is essential. What I was really hoping for from this set was reliable tweezers and a good set of sharp cuticle nippers. They were stiff and the small spring bar on the bottom wouldn't move without first applying a fair amount of oil. As I got them moving I checked them and wow, not very sharp. It took several attempts to remove the cuticle. Very disappointing. So I put them back and checked the tweezers. Also very disappointing. Weak and stupid. A good pair doesn't bend easily when you squeeze them, this pair bends like a twig. The only other tools I tried were a cuticle pusher, the penultimate cuticle remover on the right, and clippers. The cuticle pusher was more like a flat blade which can be very dangerous if you slip like I did. Bleeding cuticles are no fun. The small removal tool wasn't sharp either. I just have to push it through the cuticle to lift it up. No nothing. And the clippers did the trick, but if you have thick toenails, those clippers will probably break before you cut anything. I haven't tried other tools because I think I've had enough bugs for one day. Once I'm done checking I'll take it back to the nearest Amazon store for a refund. Very disappointed. I don't think I'll get my nails done anymore.
