I love salt lamps and was very happy to put this unique lamp in my office. Unfortunately, I didn't have much experience to begin with. The box wasn't in the best condition, but it wasn't completely destroyed either. When I opened the box I expected everything to be intact. I didn't find that. None of the contents were boxed or individually wrapped. All of the balls lay loose in the box and as I began to remove the individual parts from the box I found that the lightbulb, which also had no extra winding, was broken. My desk was littered with tiny pieces of glass, and after cleaning it and examining the rest of the items in the box, I noticed that the side of the bowl was discolored, as if it had taken a hard hit. I should be able to get a replacement bulb for the lighting unit but I am disheartened that the product was not better protected in the original packaging. The bowl corresponds to the description but I expected it to be better received.
