Soft and fluffy. Washes well on a gentle cycle. But if your shoulders are larger than average, like me, go up a size. The arms are also longer than usual. For reference, I'm 5 feet 5,250 pounds. I had to take 3xl because my shoulders and arms are larger than average. So the arms fit just right (aside from being long) but the body is very large because I figured out the measurements. As for the length, the robe covers the knees.
