It's definitely smaller than the regular beach towels and microfiber towels I've bought which are about the same width and length. I only used it to dry my hands but it worked great. I bought it for a trip to carry in my backpack. I love how compact it is and that it has an elastic sewn in to keep it rolled up so it doesn't get lost. The colors are true. I took off 1 star because I didn't like the bag - it was very tight when I tried to get it out and I didn't even try to put it back in. So it's basically useless. If they made the bag a little bigger I would definitely rate it 5 stars.
