Review on Nutrisource Grain Free Chicken Small Breed Dog Food 5Lb: Premium Nutrition for Small Dogs by Lisa Dvorak

Suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs

Two of my Miniature Schnauzers eat this dog food very well. We started using them after researching grain free dog foods that are good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. We have struggled to find a dog food that is a good fit for our 3 year old senior Miniature Schnauzer. We have tried almost every brand of dry dog food from the major pet stores but he always had bad gas and loose stools. One day we went to the local pet store and bought a Nutrisource sample. We mixed it into his old food and within a week his stools were much harder, vomiting less and no more gas! We were very surprised how well he responded to this food. We went back to the store and got a large £15 bag and he's been carrying it ever since. At the moment, this is the only food that goes well with his stomach. We recently adopted a Miniature Schnauzer puppy and she eats this food with no problem either. However, it should be noted that I've noticed that they gain weight fairly quickly on this food, so we're alternating it with another brand of dog food called Fromm. Both excellent branded dog foods that are not irritating to our dogs stomachs. Small breed dog food is technically the same as the regular grain-free version, but with smaller kibble (same protein, fat, fiber and ingredients). Since Revain doesn't sell a regular bag, we buy these and our dogs still love them. Our dogs weigh 15 kg and 13 kg and tolerate this food very well. Highly recommended for dogs with sensitive stomachs! Here are the first five ingredients: chicken, chicken meal, peas, pea starch, pea flour. Analysis guarantees: Crude protein (min.) 28.0% Crude fat (min.) 18.0% Crude fiber (max.) 5.0%
