The bedspread is very soft. I think it's beautifully done. However, in photos, the light color looks white or off-white. No, that is not so. It's light grey. and when you get it home it is mostly light gray with a very grey-blue color. I would see it as a very muted navy or a matte navy. It's still good, but adding dark blue pillows doesn't work if you want to add other pillows that you think will match. I bought some white pillows and changed them to a different color because they didn't fit like I was hoping. It wasn't bad, it just didn't have the wow factor. I put it on two purple long single beds (adjustable bed) and it doesn't hang on the sides far enough like I was hoping. But that's not against the terms of the contract. I just made it longer on the side you see when you enter the room. Again, I'm very impressed with how soft it is.
