I didn't know what to expect from them. Can a bar be used as a shampoo, conditioner and shower gel? The bar is very small for the price. I wet my hair and run the barbell through my wet hair and it immediately lathers up. There is no offending odor and it doesn't seem to leave any residue on my straight Asian hair. If your hair is dry you may need an extra conditioner but I didn't need it. This would be great in an RV or when traveling as you don't need multiple bottles. One star deducted only because of the price. I've only used it a few times so I don't know how long it will last.
