These are not the softest wipes so I wouldn't use them exclusively on the face - they have a rough surface so are better for rubbing or rubbing wipe the floor. They also work well as wipes - after use I rinse them out, add soap and then wipe dirty floors with them. Most fabrics tear easily under these conditions, but not these fabrics, which are difficult to tear and therefore ideal for reuse. I think I've saved some money by using these dry towels because you get a lot of value out of a 'towel'. While I don't recommend them for the face, they're great for general house cleaning. The only thing more eco-friendly is rags.
