I think the only thing I have against this product is that it has come down $5 in price in the last few weeks since I bought mine. I had a choice of buying this model or a model with a built-in screen. I chose this because I plan to use it when traveling or when my grandson is visiting and I think I'll be putting the case on and off often. The other case I have doesn't have a built in screen so I decided to buy an open case and a separate screen protector. I was skeptical because reviews said the iPad Air 2 would be difficult to fit in a case, so I watched a video showing how to install it. This case is specially made for the iPad Air 2. Nothing else fits in and the case fits snugly, which is very good. The video showed two things that are important to know. The case comes with a black insert, presumably to prevent the soft padded case from deforming in transit. If I hadn't seen the video posted by the Mama blogger, I wouldn't have known that I had to take it out to insert the iPad Air 2. Of course, at some point I would have realized that it wasn't like that. fits, but by then I could have damaged my device. It is therefore advisable to watch the video before installing. Second, you need to start by placing the two corners fully in the corners closest to the case handle, as that works best. If you're patient, you should be able to put it on without too much trouble, and it's easier to take off than put on. It was great for my grandson who could watch videos normally on a tilt and loved the color purple. My other case has a much lower propensity for typing. For children, the Newstyle suitcase is more suitable. I felt much more comfortable having my iPad in this case while keeping it nearby. The cutouts for the volume and power controls are okay, the case didn't affect the sound. There are several holes above the speaker. I had it stand vertically, horizontally and at an angle for typing.
