I really wanted this shoe to be useful for everyday use, walking the dog, etc. Casual shoes without laces. What drew me in was that they looked more classic and "grown up" than the worn out Skechers EQs I was replacing. The first thing that struck me upon receipt is that this is actually a well made shoe. Next thing was that they are not that comfortable and also very tight. I'm a size 10 and ordered a size up and while I can't say they aren't a size 10 because they fit my foot, they are a snug fit with no extra room. (If they were European size I would say they would be 43 not 44). this is partly why slip-ons are chosen) and you have to use a shoehorn to put them on. This is no doubt also the cause of my second complaint, which is that 3 days after only wearing them for a walk, my heels blistered due to the edges/seams being pinched tight and causing them to chafe. Wouldn't recommend it. Wouldn't buy again. And if I hadn't already thrown away the whole package stupidly, I would have reconfigured it!
