Review on 👕 Joes USA Smooth Cotton Polo Shirt - Royal Blue | Men's Clothing by Robert Ogrodnik

I was dying to try on the XS Azure Blue Joe's Cotton Long Sleeve Polo - I love a good classic polo and was intrigued by the "soft and smooth" promise in the product description. Unfortunately, while the shirt is definitely good in those dimensions, it had too many flaws for me to really love it. At first the landing was a bit strange. Although the shirt is marketed as a women's shirt, the sleeves appear oddly short and the overall cut is a bit boxy. I usually wear small or XS but that didn't seem to work for my body type. However, I could see it working better on someone else - just not quite right for me. The quality of the cotton itself is very good - it feels soft and smooth but not as breathable as I would like. This may be due to the heavier weight of the fabric, which makes the shirt feel tighter. I appreciated it for cooler fall weather but am not sure I would want to wear it on a hot summer day. Finally the color was ok but nothing special. AzureBlue is a pretty nice shade, but it didn't blow my mind and I felt like I could find a similar shirt at almost any store. Overall I would give this shirt 3 out of 5 stars. It's decent quality and definitely feels soft and smooth, but the fit and breathability didn't quite appeal to me. If you're looking for a heavier, non-breathable polo shirt this might be a great option, but other than that I'd keep looking.
