I like this tower for our new kitten, the small basket and height are perfect, but the rope on the scratching post smells like cheese. I thought one of my cats had thrown up somewhere but after blowing my nose and sniffing I got to the rope of the cat tower and it smells really bad, it's been a few days and it still smells like cheesy baby poo. I've cleaned it many times with Clorox wipes but can't get rid of the smelly rope smell. Now the bedroom smells like vomit. I put it in front of the window, I hope the stench goes away.
