When I started college, I bought a full-featured Macbook Pro. I knew I had to do a lot of intense statistical analysis, and I wanted a computer that could keep up with me. I also knew I couldn't afford to replace my laptop while I was at school so I bought this case and keyboard case to protect them. Two years later, the computer suddenly failed. The screen was covered in flickering lines and I couldn't see well enough to do anything. I took it to the store and they told me it was liquid damage. I pointed out that I have never spilled anything on the laptop and that I have a special keyboard cover to prevent it. It turns out that the KEYBOARD WILL BE DAMAGED. Over time, condensation formed under the cover and penetrated the computer. The one I bought to protect my laptop broke it! That being said, the pros: The outer shell is nice, durable, and fits well without damaging the MacBook screen (which seems to be a common problem with MacBook cases). After two years of use, the case has a crack in the corner, but there is no damage to the structure. JUST DON'T USE THE KEYBOARD.
