Budget Drum Throne: Playroom Furniture

I bought this to use as a drum throne. It works very well and has a high quality gas piston system. The only downsides are 1) the seat could be a bit softer and 2) the bracket that attaches to the bottom of the seat is quite small so leaning far enough in any direction could break the backrest. I'm going to fix this by installing a larger diameter metal plate between the bracket and the bottom of the seat.
