Lies, wrong description, wrong photos. It works, although

The wire used in these wires is marked as a pair of 30 AWG (data wires) with 24 AWG power carriers. On/off switch for my touchscreen Raspberry Pi 3B+. All other RPi cables with on/off buttons are garbage. The button cannot hold 2.5A, although the wiring used in it can. Also, this cable claims to use 24AWG for power transmission. The power wires in this cable are 26 AWG at best and closer to 28 AWG. The cables used by Startech to manufacture them are incorrectly labeled and Startech has not verified the size of the wires itself. I know this because I had to unplug the power cords for my RPi to toggle. Another problem is that what they called "right corner" and "left corner" doesn't match what they actually are. means. I ended up having to buy a second cable, referred to here as a "rectangular" connector, which is listed everywhere as a left-handed connector. It's ok if you have money, time and patience. Currently my switch is plugged in and providing enough power from a 5V 3.5A wall adapter. So it works to provide enough voltage for power hungry RPi setups. I think that's barely enough. The cable itself is interesting in that it has a copper ground wire that runs along the outer mesh jacket to help EMI penetrate the data cables. At 30 AWG, the data lines require the greatest possible protection.
