I wear size 8 women's shoes from most brands and was so confused by the sizing that after reading the reviews I ordered a size 6 and they were too small. So I ordered 7 and they fit and had room but I felt weird and I knew they wouldn't work so I ordered 8 and eventually they were just perfect. You need space in these shoes. For my girls who wear size 4 sneakers, a 5 was fine. I think it's safer to take a size 1 in the girls version. For adult women, adjust the number.
