Review on πŸ’‘ SumVibe Non-Dimmable Daylight AC110-130V Replacement Bulb by Josh Heelis

Pretty decent. in Lightbulbs

I wasn't sure if the brightness was as advertised but using my phone's front sensor I calculated 518lm at full brightness on my dimmer so I'll call it close enough. "Warm white" is hardly warm. Not nearly as warm as the halogen bulbs they replaced, but again I can buy the 3000K close enough. When I look at them they appear almost white but the light they give off definitely has a warm undertone. They're supposed to be dimmable and I'll call it that. Eh, kinda, technically yes maybe, but they don't really behave the way I expect them to when I read the word "dimmable". I have a dimmer that is compatible with Lutron LEDs. The halogens worked great with a linear dimming curve. With these LED bulbs, they barely dim from low to 3/4 slider on the dimmer, then suddenly they get bright and start flashing, speed up as the dimmer slider moves, and eventually get solid and a little brighter on the last small stroke of the dimmer slide. So technically I can dim from low to high, but it's more of a high/low switch than true dimming. Overall I got what I paid for, mostly at a slightly lower price than usual, so I'm happy with them. I've included a photo of a fixture I took that contained these bulbs and compared the intensity to a fluorescent tube in an adjacent room that had a T8 32w bulb in one fixture and 3 in another, an image on low and another on high. In addition, a size comparison with a standard A19 lamp. EDIT/UPDATE: I misread the specs and they shouldn't adjust the brightness, so the fact that I can toggle from low to high is actually an unexpected bonus. Turns out I'm an idiot. who knew
