Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I received it quickly and in good condition. It feels like it's going to take quite a while. It comes rolled up so you only have to leave it for a few days, but it's ready to use. The edges are just a little curled up. Placing a flat book at each end should speed up this process. A steamer might also help. Pros - Looks like real leather - Appears to be very durable and waterproof - The color is nice (light brown) - The surface is comfortable for the hands - The surface is strong enough to write on paper with a ballpoint pen. - Doesn't smell at all (I'm usually very sensitive to plastic smells) Cons - The finish doesn't have that natural tan like the photos. Uniform brown. The bottom is a bit slippery. No problem in everyday use, but no non-slip surface on the bottom. Overall this is a great deal for the price. It's a great material and way better than the really cheap smelly faux leather you can find elsewhere.
